Fun Wedding Photography at The Henley Rooms Stratford-upon-Avon
I have provided Wedding Photography at The Henley Rooms in Stratford-upon-Avon about five or six times now, usually for just a few hours but for this wedding, I was booked for my six hours wedding photography package. The day started at the Henley Rooms with the bride entering the ceremony to the song Ini Kamoze - Here Comes the Hotstepper which was very original I thought!
Then the groom had rewritten the text of the ceremony to really make the occasion unique, including doing a reading himself proclaiming his love for the bride, which everyone in the room found quite touching.
After the ceremony doing the wedding photography at The Henley Rooms, and after some time capturing the guests in the street and having Chinese Tourists photographing us, we headed to the Coxes Yard for the reception part of the day with the wedding party having exclusive access to the terrace by the river which was ideal for group photos on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year. It was a staggering 34 degrees all day.
The bride and groom travelled down from the Henley Rooms to the Coxes Yard in a limo, which I was lucky enough to catch a lift in as it had air-conditioning. After everyone had arrived at the venue, we did the group photographs before heading to the wedding breakfast, which was held upstairs at the Coxes Yard. The meal was a buffet, followed by speeches, cutting of the cake, then the first dance and then right at the end of the day we did the wedding photography portraits in the Bancroft Gardens and finally, we did the confetti shots right at the end of the day.
