Wedding Photography at Bosworth Hall
My penultimate wedding photography assignment of 2020 was at Bosworth Hall on Saturday 5th December. After having their original wedding cancelled due to lockdown one and deciding to postpone the wedding indefinitely they changed their minds and decided to tie the knot with only a few days notice at Bosworth Hall close to where they live.
At the time the restrictions meant that only the ceremony was allowed to take place within a limited time window, but they had managed to have the bridal suite to get ready in and also arranged for a quick cake cutting at the end which made the experience for them as close to normal as could be expected.
This was my first time at Bosworth Hall, a very grand stately home-style hotel with high ceilings and windows ideal for letting in lots of light which was flooding into the bridal suite when I arrived. I found the bride and her family getting ready for the day, after capturing a few photos of the flower girl and of the bride herself I headed to the ceremony room which was another grand room with a nice Christmas Tree telling us what time of year it was.
The ceremony was a simple non-religious service that was streamed to a small crowd of friends and family that had gathered outside, I provided a stand for the zoom camera.
After the ceremony, we headed outside for lots of photos and confetti but due to the time restrictions, there was only enough time for a quick cutting of the cake some very quick photos inside the hall and then back to their house for a street party outside there home complete with champagne and a buffet, where all those who weren't allowed to the ceremony had gathered to wish the happy couple well.
