Graduation Photography Warwick University
I always enjoy new challenges and opportunities, earlier this month I was employed by a family to photograph their daughters’ graduation at Warwick University.
This being my first job doing graduation photography, I did a bit of research, which told me that graduation photography is usually traditional posed photographs in front of a screen. Which is kind of boring but necessary for photographing hundreds of graduates with their degree certificates and not everyone is able to have their own professional photographer.
Drawing on my experience with wedding photography, I was able to take pictures of the main ceremony, family and friends groups as well as some fun, natural portraits. In the ceremony it was very dark but we the right camera settings and a combination of the right vantage point I was able to fulfil my client’s brief. Outside it was a very dull cloudy day, to counter the dull conditions I gave the pictures a warmer sunnier look.
