Rosey and Sean Wedding Photography at the Warwickshire Golf Club
On the 30th July I covered the wedding of Rosey and Sean for a whole day wedding photography package from the bridal preparations to the first dance. The wedding service was held at St Martins Church on the Rugby Road in Leamington Spa with the reception held at The Warwickshire Golf Club. The day started for Rebecca my colleague at The Travel Lodge in Leamington and for me at the church an hour later. This is the advantage of having two wedding photographers because we can be in two places at once and also when in the same location take photographs of the same subject from different aspects.
All went well for the bridal prep but at the church the vicar told me that pictures were not allowed during the ceremony, which was disappointing but sometimes vicars and registrars can be awkward it is few and far between though. If I am honest I did sneak in a few pictures of crucial moments of the service from the back of the church because I am being paid to take photographs and if I have to bend the rules a little bit I will do as long as it doesn't upset anyone.
For the transportation of guests a vintage double decker bus had been hired and for the bride and groom a horse and carriage to take them to The Warwickshire and with my local knowledge we were able to drive around the back lanes and arrive at the venue before the bus and the carriage.
The weather at the venue was sunny but we some cloud, the speeches were very good with a brutal best mans speech and then surprise or two for the guests with the announcement that Rosey was pregnant and the surprise guest of Steve Bull a famous Wolves football player arriving at the end of the speeches Rosey is a Wolves fan and Sean a Leicester Fan.
I rounded the day off with a drone video selfie of the wedding crowd and the venue in the background. I am a qualified and insured drone (uav pilot) the Warwickshire has loads of space so I thought why not try a selfie as a bonus for the happy couple. After this I left just after the first dance it was an enjoyable day here is small sample of the 500 images that were supplied to the Happy couple.
