Alcester and Kings Court Hotel Alcester Wedding Photography | Emma & Owen
On Saturday 6th May 2017 I was employed to do the wedding photography for Emma & Owen for a blessing at St Nicholas Church in Alcester with a reception at Kings Court Hotel in also in Alcester.
The event had all the trappings of a full-blown wedding but it was, in fact, a blessing because Emma and Owen had already tied the knot in Jamacia the week previous.
This was my first trip to St Nicholas Church in Alcester, it is a lovely church with a nice teal coloured ceiling and plasterwork. I am somewhat of a fan of visiting churches but that is another story.
The day started and ended at the Kings Court Hotel with a vintage white Rolls Royce as transport between venues, the weather was cloudy but we made the best of the weather. The bridal party was in full traditional clothing with Emma looking stunning in a traditional wedding dress. My aim with all wedding photography is to capture the day as it unfolds and to not interfere too much in the events instead concentrating on capturing the mood. This approach leads to more natural photos which is exactly the brief Emma gave me when I was booked.
