Wedding Photography at St Margarets Church Whitnash

On the 15th September 2018, I provided the wedding photography at Charingworth Manor for Haley & Ashley's wedding.   The wedding actually had two venues the first part was the service held at St Margarets Church in Whitnash in Royal Leamington Spa with the reception held at Charingworth Manor near Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds. 

This was my first time to both places and with all wedding's I like to arrive early, this time though I slightly overdid it and after waiting half an hour or so the next person to arrive was a friend of the family who had been tasked to drive the wedding car.  He wanted to double check this was the correct church before making the proper journey later.  Thankfully, we were able to reassure ourselves that we were at the correct place. 

Soon a steady stream of groomsmen sorting out flowers, guests and the vicar arrived at St Margarets Church which is a nice looking traditional English church set back from the road with a small green in front.   After Haley arrived the ceremony commenced which was a traditional Christian wedding where we heard some very thoughtful and moving readings. 

After the ceremony, we did some confetti shots and captured guests congratulating the Haley and Ashley after this everyone drove to Charingworth for the main photos and the wedding reception. This was my first time at Charingworth Manor a quintessentially English country house hotel, it has stunning views and happens to be in one of my favourite areas of the Cotswolds close to Chipping Campden.  After all the photos, we a group shot of everyone who attended the wedding before the wedding breakfast. 

After the meal, I photographed the speeches, which finished just in time for us to capture some couple photos at sunset whilst the room was being changed and then onto cutting the cake and first dance photos.
