Wedding Photography at the Manor House Moreton-in-Marsh

On Friday 21st June I provided wedding photography at The Manor House in Moreton-in-Marsh. I have been to the Manor House before in the distant past for a charity ball but this was my first time visiting as a wedding photographer

Alanna & Simon had arranged for an outside wedding taking place in the garden of the hotel centred around gazebo type structure with seating arranged around it.  Music was provided by a sound system whilst we also had perfect weather blue skies with soft white clouds.

In addition to the wedding photography, I was also video recording the ceremony from two fixed points. A camera by the gazebo to capture the main ceremony and a camera capturing a wide shot to record the bridal parties arrival and the general overview of the wedding. I am certainly not a videographer but I can provide high-quality video from fixed positions with audio I also have a drone and a licence to fly it but that is another story.

The weather was perfect, the setting was perfect, the fresh green vegetation of June and everyone had turned out well for the event. The registrar was very jolly and it was a great wedding. Both the bride and groom did look a little bit nervous beforehand but this is totally understandable.

As always I tried to keep my distance capturing the emotion of the day in a reportage style whilst also capturing the signing of the register and then later we did some portraits of the bride and groom and also group shots as well. I aim to capture as many of the guest as I as candid images and then do the group images as well.

It really was a lovely day in a lovely location.
