Winter Wedding Photography Warwick House
In February earlier this year (2022). I had the great pleasure of capturing the wedding photography of Sian and Josh at Warwick House. I have attended a number of weddings at Warwick House since it opened ten years ago. It is a great venue that has plenty of indoor space for winter weddings and outside space for summer weddings.
On this occasion, it rained all day, so naturally we were inside. I was booked only for a few hours to capture the main wedding events before and beyond the ceremony. Sian was wearing an absolutely stunning white wedding dress, whilst the brides’ maids were in pink gowns. Despite the cold damp weather outside, the whole day had a warm feel to it, and this warmth is what I chose to portray in the images I captured.
Josh wore a traditional morning suit that matched the suits of their children, who acted as ushers. I remember talking to the father of the bride as he waited to meet Sian before the ceremony. He was nervous, and I shared some of my own nerve racking experiences not as father of the bride but as the best man to calm his nerves. But clearly, once he entered the room with Sian on his arm, his nerves disappeared into a broad smile.
After the service and a period of chatting in the bar area, we did the group photography on the entrance hall. Then finally some portraits of the bride and groom on the landing area and also in the bridal suite.
