Henley Room Wedding, Stratford-upon-Avon

wedding photography at the Henley Room Stratford-upon-avon

Of the registry offices I have visited, the Henley Room is undoubted the most attractive venue, with its wooden beams and central location in Stratford-upon-Avon. On this occasion it was a small gathering due to COVID-19 restrictions with a short ceremony then photos by the river with the party heading onward to a hotel in the Cotswolds.

Whilst down at the river we did a few photos and also the party had champagne to celebrate as well as a brief confetti shot.

When I arrived at the beginning, the brides parents gave me the heads-up that a camper van had been hired as a surprise to transport the bride and groom to the hotel.

I was therefore instructed to lead the group back to the Henley Room after visiting the river and lead them around the back to see the camper van parked as a surprise.

I was surprised everyone followed me on my tour around Stratford from the river to back to the registry office no questions asked, but it worked. I guess because the group was very small, and they were being polite.
