Wedding Photography at St Marys Collegiate, Warwick

wedding photography at St Marys Church Warwick

On 31st July 2021 I provided the wedding photography for Sara and Neil at St Marys in Warwick with the reception at the Fuzzy Duck pub in Admington.

Despite my studio being based only a few doors down from St Marys, this was the first time, I had covered a wedding at St Marys. The church itself is spectacular, with its huge windows that let in a lot of light into its spacious interior in contrast to other my favourite church Haseley in near Hatton.

We needed the large windows because unfortunately it was overcast and rainy on the wedding day, the total opposite of the engagement shoot where it was amazing evening sun.

The rain certainly didn’t dampen the happy couple’s spirits, though, who were smiling ear to ear throughout the whole day.

After the ceremony, we went to the Fuzzy Duck, a cosy pub on the edge of the Cotswolds in South Warwickshire. Thankfully there were breaks in the weather to allow everyone to arrive dry and also to allow the group photos to be captured.

We then headed indoors for the meal and the speeches which I enjoy listening to, especially the best man speeches which are always fun. After the meal we caught the last light of the day for more portraits and then back indoors for the cutting of the cake and the first dance.
